The hawthorn is just starting to come out here in the east of England. I'm looking forward to whole boughs of it framing footpaths.

The migratory birds returning. At the farm yesterday we saw the ruby-throated hummingbird . We heard the great crested fly catcher and the wood thrush in the evening, all summer visitors to our farm ! Happy Spring !
