And so, the wheel turns, and winter is nearly upon us. Much like my own purging, the trees have shed their leaves, exposing their bare skeletons. Instead of my usual cocooning that occurs this time of year, I feel stripped raw. I’m searching for my swan feathers, my sealskin. (One of the poems I have shared with my paid subscribers is about this very thing)
