Yesterday, when I was enjoying a snack in the park with my son, a stranger smiled at us and commented on my son’s pirate costume. This small gesture added a spark of joy to my son’s day.
We all like to be seen for who we are, or who we wish to be. And it is comforting when someone sees us and helps to bolster our confidence.
