This is the first poem I’ve managed to write since January. Since I started my graduate studies, my full schedule hasn’t allowed me the creative freedom to write poetry as much as I wanted, so I was relieved when the bare bones of this new poem came to me.
It’s still a work in progress, but at least you can see where I’m taking it. I hope you enjoy.
And I wanted to thank all of you for being here and supporting my work as a writer. Whether free subscriber or paid, I appreciate each and every one of you. Recently, I’ve had annual paid subscribers renew their subscriptions, and it was such a welcome and appreciated surprise! I can’t believe it’s been a year since I first offered paid subscriptions, and I honestly had no idea that so many of you would even want to support my work in this way. So, thank you again!
If you have been considering a paid subscription, you can always read one paid article for free before deciding whether you want to pay by the month, or by the year, or keep reading two posts per month for free. Until the end of the month, annual paid subscriptions are on sale for $30.
